Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy, commonly known as “biorejuvenation” or “biorevitalization.

Mesotherapy-1

Though it is new to the United States, mesotherapy has been widely used for the last 30 to 40 years in France and for hundreds of years in China and India.

Mesotherapy involves a series of injections with short, fine needles that target the middle layer (or mesoderm) of skin.

Organic molecules, plant particles, stem cells and growth factors are usually selected by your esthetician based on your needs in order to deliver nano molecules into your dermal layer where collagen, blood vessels, and the extracellular matrix is made to be robust to build, repair and grow new tissue and hair follicles.

What Mesotherapy Can Do For You

Some of the things that Mesotherapy can help with include:

  • Cellulite reduction
  • Wrinkles and fine lines removal
  • Fix Dull skin
  • Tighten Loose skin
  • Remove/Reduce Acne scarring
  • Reduce Hyperpigmentation
  • Reduce Hair loss
  • Increase hair thickness and growth
  • Markedly Improve stretch marks
  • Double chin

How Mesotherapy Works

Mesotherapy uses a combination of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and pharmaceuticals micro-needled into the skin, to help remove body fat, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, rejuvenate dull looking skin and treat acne scarring or hyperpigmentation.

These carefully concocted ingredients are micro-needled into the mesoderm – the middle layer of the skin. Here they can help to break down unwanted fat cells and encourage elimination – reducing body fat in problem areas. They also help to nourish and rejuvenate your skin, whilst stimulating the production of collagen and elastin – the cells that give your skin its elasticity and firmness.

How mesotherapy works to destroy fat

Mesotherapy can be used in many problem areas, including your belly, thighs, and flanks. The special solution is injected into the layer of your skin called the mesoderm. Once injected, your body releases the chemicals to the target areas, stimulating the fat destruction process while also promoting healing in the area. Those healing responses trigger the production of collagen and elastin, two important components of healthy skin. Collagen and elastin form strong networks under your skin, helping to support your skin so it looks and feels firmer. As a result, mesotherapy doesn’t just melt away fat — it also helps the skin over the treatment area regain firmness, diminishing the appearance of cellulite while enhancing your new, slimmer contours.

Because mesotherapy uses injections, your treatment can be targeted to the specific areas you want to improve. Before your mesotherapy session, you’ll meet with our treatment specialists to discuss your concerns and the goals you’d like to achieve. Then your treatment plan will be mapped out to help you enjoy optimal results. While a single mesotherapy session can provide you with some initial results, most patients benefit from a series of treatments to ensure the fat-melting process is optimized for their specific objectives. Your treatment plan, including the number of treatment sessions you’ll need and the placement of the injections, will be discussed with you during your evaluation and consultation, and again throughout your treatment to ensure your sessions are focused on the results you want to achieve.

HAIR Growth

When mesotherapy solution is injected into the scalp, it improves the hair density and thickness as well as stop hair loss. It accelerates scalp circulation, the thickening of the skinm and the nourishment of hair bulbs by multiple micro-injuries. Through these micro-injuries, proprietary elixirs consisiting of exosomes, stem cells an other hair growth stimulants in the form of growth factors for blood vessels and fibroblasts are placed in the dermis to become more bioavailable at the cellular level with better penetration. And with the primary order of molecule kinetics provided by this procedure the injected elements last for weeks within the scalp as opposed to days guaranteign successful results without any potential for systemic toxicity.

Benefits of hair mesotherapy

Hair mesotherapy has four major benefits.

The first is surely the one that’s most desired by anyone who has ever had alopecia, and it’s based on preventing hair loss . It is one of the best treatments available to help maintain hair. Secondly, it nourishes the scalp, safely providing what it needs. Third, it promotes scalp regeneration, and finally, last but not least, it stimulates hair growth.

THE TREATMENT IS SPECIFICALLY RECOMMENDED TO:

  • Women and men with hormonal disorders leading to hair loss – mesotherapy as a maintenance treatment until the hormonal level is rebalanced
  • Women after pregnancy – pregnancy often increases hair loss
  • Women in menopause
  • Women and men who want to strengthen hair, especially at the turn of seasons when hair may fall out more intensely than on average
  • Men preparing for a hair transplant surgery – reconstruction of even part of the hair that hasn’t fallen out may reduce the scope of the hair transplant surgery

WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF THE TREATMENT?

The results of any hair restoration treatment always vary between individuals, but in most cases it will take 2 – 3 months before results are noticeable. Our esteticihians will either recommend maintenance therapy or combination therapy based on your needs to hasten your progress.

The following outline is a standard estimate of what each mesotherapy treatment entails.

(the number of injections and amount of medication varies from patient to patient):

Fat Reduction/Weight Loss: Usually 2 to 4 treatments (injections) are required at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks. Depending on the problem area, the number of procedures could increase. Because mesotherapy treatments for weight loss do not produce drastic changes, it is generally recommended for patients who require a little fat reduction in specific areas, as with body contouring.

Cellulite Reduction: Approximately 3 to 4 treatments are necessary at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks. While cellulite treatment is the least effective of the mesotherapy options, it is nonetheless successful in dealing with mild degrees of cellulite.

Lower Blepharoplasty: 1 or 2 treatments are recommended at 6 week intervals (at times the second treatment is not necessary). For Lower Eye Blepharoplasty, the patient should take cortisone prior to the procedure, and the swelling could possibly last for up to 6 weeks.

Facial Rejuvenation: 4 treatments are required at 2 to 3 week intervals. It is one of the most popular mesotherapy treatments as it works well.

What Type Of Ingredients Are Used In Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy can be used to deliver a wide range of ingredients into the middle layer of the skin. The ingredients used will vary depending on the area you’re treating, the results you’re looking to achieve and the doctor you’re working with. Some common ingredients include:

Hyaluronic Acid – A naturally occurring substance in the body that helps to hydrate the skin, increase collagen production and fight free radicals and bacteria.

Amino Acids – Amino acids are organic compounds that create proteins.

Amino acids such as L-Carnitine can be used in Mesotherapy to help transport fat cells and burn them off.

Vitamins & Minerals – Essential vitamins and minerals can help to keep your skin healthy, firm and strong. Reducing the signs of ageing and protecting your skin from free radical damage.

Enzymes – Enzymes such as Deoxycholate can be included to help with the breakdown of fats.

Mesotherapy isn’t a one size fits all treatment.

Our aesthetician will listen to your concerns, analyse your skin and scalp, and will suggest an ingredient selection based on your goals.
